    Accident narrative

    Injured employee was using a skidsteer to clean out water from a spill containment. The bucket of the skid steer contacted the lip of the containment causing the skidsteer to stop suddenly. They struck their head on the roof of the cab. Employee was taken to the ER and was diagnosed with a head laceration. Employee was given 4 staples to the top of this head for treatment.

    Accident narrative

    Injured employee worked a 12 hour night shift. They spent approx. 1 hour shoveling mud the in the stone tunnel. The remaining 11 hours of the shift were spent hauling core (waste quicklime) from the plant to the quarry. They did not report any injuries that shift. The next day they sought medical treatment for a back injury.
